For bookkeepers & accounting professionals

Repeat client records, clear review controls.

Use LeoFolio as a focused document layer when you or your client already controls the source facts. Reuse stable profile details locally, select the right record, inspect the calculation scope, and keep client responsibility explicit.

A practical document layer for recurring client work.

LeoFolio is not a practice-management system, accounting ledger, or payroll processor. It is a focused workflow for creating records from information you or your client supply.

Repeatable workflow

Reduce repetition without hiding responsibility.

Each engagement should begin with the client’s own source records and end with an intentional review. LeoFolio helps with the structured steps between them.

1. Establish the source

Collect the period, earnings, deductions, tax settings, expenses, recipient data, and YTD basis from client-controlled records.

2. Reuse stable details

Store company and worker profile fields locally in Workspace when the same browser is used for recurring work.

3. Select the record

Use Smart Match, a document pack, or a specific generator according to purpose—not merely appearance.

4. Review and hand off

Confirm inputs, calculation boundaries, and the finished preview, then retain the supporting source information with the client file.

Local-first means local: current Workspace profiles are stored in the browser. They are not a shared cloud client database, do not sync automatically between devices, and do not provide role-based access or an audit log for a multi-user firm.

For professional review

Inspect the basis, not just the PDF.

Bookkeepers and accounting professionals need clearer evidence than a polished template alone. LeoFolio exposes the research and calculation boundaries that support review.

Engagement boundaries

Keep the client’s responsibilities visible.

A professional workflow should make clear which facts came from the client, which calculations the platform performed, and which obligations remain outside the platform.

Facts remain client-supplied

LeoFolio does not independently confirm identity, employment, worker classification, hours, wages, deductions, elections, YTD history, or the truth of any entered value. Compare every record with the client’s source information.

Recipient copies are not filings

W-2, 1099-NEC, and 1099-MISC tools create recipient-copy documentation. They do not transmit forms to the IRS, Social Security Administration, state agencies, or recipients.

Payment and remittance stay elsewhere

LeoFolio does not run payroll, move funds, initiate direct deposit, remit taxes, administer benefits, or determine whether a worker is legally classified correctly.

Before client use

Common professional questions.

Can multiple staff members share Workspace profiles?

Not through the current Workspace. Profiles are browser-local and do not provide cloud synchronization, role permissions, or a firm-wide audit history.

Does LeoFolio independently verify client documents?

No. It checks parts of its own research, calculation, template, and release process. It does not authenticate client identity, employment, income, or source records.

Can LeoFolio file W-2 or 1099 forms?

No. The tools create recipient-copy documentation and do not replace required filing, correction, delivery, or retention procedures.

What should remain in the client file?

Retain the underlying payroll, time, expense, tax-election, payment, filing, and approval records appropriate to the engagement. A generated PDF should not be the only support for the facts it displays.

Supporting a small business directly?
